Home Secretary Jacqui Smith said she decided to publicize the list of 16 people banned since October to show the type of behavior Britain will not tolerate, according to U.K. news reports.   Read entire article >>

The U.K. holds the title of being the No.1 “surveillance society” in the world. That and this story might indicate an over-reaction to terrorism or a falling in line with the prophetic book ‘1984.’ This latest incident follows up on the banning of Dutch MP Geert Wilders for his so-called “extremist views.” Where will it all end? At least they ban secularists as well as Christians, Muslims, and Jews.

So what’s so controversial about talk-show host Michael Savage? He has had a running battle with the Catholic Church, even calling the leadership there “greedy pigs.” Due to some Hispanics burning American flags at pro-immigration rallies, he suggested listeners burn Mexican flags. In America we call that “freedom of speech.” Guess they don’t have that in the U.K.
