Since the dawning days of civilization, as detailed in the Book of Genesis, mankind has longed to be united as one without the rule of their Creator. That desire to cast off the shackles of God’s rule has only intensified over the centuries. Eventually there will be one religion, one currency, and one ruler—the Antichrist. God will allow human beings to experience for themselves that a world without His rule will always end up being a disaster.

“Why do the nations rage,
And the people plot a vain thing?
The kings of the earth set themselves,
And the rulers take counsel together,
Against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying,

And cast away Their cords from us.”
